I had the pleasure of photographing Rebecca and Madison’s Hall of Springs Wedding. For the first time in quite a while, it did not rain! Although during Dave Matthews Band playing at SPAC that night, it did seem to be “raining people!” Hundreds. Everywhere. What was so helpful for us is that if there is a concert going on, the Hall of Springs has a security guard to help out with the crowds. He did a great job of keeping the photo bombers out of the way.
I loved Rebecca’s vintage inspired dress and all her perfect jewelry pieces to accent it. Even her veil had some amazing jeweled detail edging. I love all the bits and pieces that go into making the wedding “look” perfect. What I was truly blown away by, was how beautiful, truly beautiful, Rebecca looked. Her bridesmaids were probably the most attentive I have seen in a while. Nothing went unnoticed by them and they were quick to come to her aid if they felt it was needed. From making sure that I was taking the very best photos to fixing her veil, train, make-up and hair, and also keeping her smiling and relaxed, they were on top of it!
One thing that is hard for me is deciding on what images to use for the blog. I try to show some that appeal to my creative candid side, and also try to show what the bride and groom would like to see. I base that on if they were more traditional or not. And the last deciding factor is to show a tiny bit of the story, rooms and details. When I am trying to decide between 1000 images it’s tough to make decisions but I do hope you enjoy this small glimpse into this fabulous couple’s Hall of Springs wedding.
